Asthma care and advice on inhaler techniques are available from the doctors during normal afternoon surgery.


Advice on diabetic care is available from the doctors and practice nurse.  Appointments can be made for our bi-monthly clinic.

Well Woman And Family Planning

For health checks, contraception, cervical cytology and breast checks appointments can made with the practice nurse or with the doctor during normal surgery, Our doctors also offer coil fitting and routine checks.

Well Person Check

Patients are invited to come and see the nurse to check Blood Pressure, Weight and Height, Cholesterol Levels (if necessary) and general lifestyle (diet, exercise etc) and to ask any health-related questions they may have.


Routine and travel immunisations can be arranged with the practice nurse. Many immunisations need to be given 3 - 4 weeks before departure.  Please speak to the nurse well in advance of travelling.

Childhood Immunisation

We recommend you discuss this with your doctor or health visitor so you can plan full protective immunisation for your child. Clinics may vary:

  • Kintbury - 2nd & 4th Monday of the month from 13:30-15:00
  • Woolton - 1st & 3rd Monday of the month from 13:45-15:45

Mother And Baby

All doctors provide regular checks during pregnancy.  A fortnightly Ante Natal Clinic is held with the GP and the District Midwife.

Parentcraft sessions are organised by the district midwives.  There are also Post Natal support groups run by the health visitor four times a year.

Developmental Screening is a service shared between the doctors and health visitor.  Babies are seen by a doctor at six weeks when their mothers come for their post natal examinations and again at three and a half years. Regular screening is carried out by the health visitor throughout the pre-school years.

Minor Surgery

The doctors undertake some minor surgical procedures. Please discuss any problems with one of the doctors.


Our practice nurse provides advice, information and support to patients with high blood pressure.
