Community Midwives

The district midwife holds fortnightly clinics alongside the doctor and visits expectant and new mothers at home as necessary. She can be contacted via the surgery and can also be seen by appointment there.

Community Nurses

The district nursing team provides general nursing care in the community. They have a wide knowledge of national services available to patients and their families, from statutory and voluntary sources. You can call them on 01635 254188.

Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women.
