Personality Disorder Training across the Thames Valley

Please find information attached about an offer for free general practice based personality disorder training across the Thames Valley. The training aims to improve the practice team’s confidence when working with patients with complex emotional issues and is for all staff; clinical, managerial, administrative and reception.

Applications are open until 1 July for 1 x 4 hour of 2 x 2 hour training sessions. The application form can be found here.

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service: People At Risk, fire safety training

Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service is holding free training for partner agencies. This training is a fire safety guide for all those involved in the care of adults in the community. It lays down the minimum recommendations for the protection of adults at risk from fire.

It is recognised that there are many considerations to be taken into account when planning a care package to allow someone to continue to live in the community with extra support to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

The dates are: 10am on 23 September and 2pm on 26 September for 1.5 hours. The training will be held the Council Chamber, West Berkshire Council, Newbury.
