We are an approved training practice and support young doctors, called Registrars, who are training to become General Practitioners. They are fully qualified doctors of several years standing with experience in various hospital departments. In the first few weeks of training, you may meet the Registrar sitting in with one of the Partners or the Practice Nurses. Later, as they gain experience, they will hold their own surgeries and you may see a registrar instead of your usual GP. If this bothers you at all please tell the receptionist.
