Use this service to arrange travel vaccinations and get advice for your upcoming trip abroad.
To help the travel nurses to assess your needs, a travel risk assessment must be submitted before an appointment is booked and a minimum 6 weeks before the departure date.
Patients who fail to attend a pre-booked NHS vaccination appointment for no good reason will not be offered another.
You can use this service if you:
- require NHS travel vaccinations
- are registered at the surgery
NHS administered vaccinations only
Our nurses may only administer NHS travel vaccinations, which currently are: Polio, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Hepatitis A, Typhoid & Cholera.
All other non-NHS medications and vaccinations must be purchased via a private travel clinic/pharmacy. For travel advice, it is the responsibility of the patient travelling to visit the following websites for advice:
